At the helm of the agency since 2012, Nicholas and his wife Shona together with a close-knit team have led the agency’s growth from a well-regarded established business into the multi-award winning agency it is today. Nicholas has received a string of awards and accolades over his career including the century 21 Centurion awards been in the top 2% globally out of 118,000 agents. however, it’s the team’s achievements that he is most proud of. Winner of the Most Outstanding Real Estate Agency in the Waverley Council’s Brightest & Best Business Awards in 2018 and 2019, Nicholas and his team are at the very forefront of the industry in the Bondi Junction precinct and surrounding suburbs.
Real estate is not only a career but a vocation for Nicholas. His lifelong interest in real estate saw him working for Meriton in the early years before moving to the UK to hone his skills in the fast-paced London market. Following his return to Sydney, Nicholas worked for a high-profile eastern suburbs agency before seizing the opportunity to establish and grow his own family run agency under the global Century 21 banner. A licensed estate agent, auctioneer and Justice of the Peace, Nicholas is a highly motivated and approachable professional with great people and communication skills who is committed to providing a first-class service. “Extremely efficient apartment sale experience with Nicholas Armstrong-Smith Century 21
Selling an apartment which was in poor internal condition but had good potential due it's location and outlook was always going to be problematical.
A couple of sales agents inspected it, gave their estimates of value and general advice for selling it, however, I thought both were too optimistic and pushy.
Nicholas was recommended to me by a friend, so I asked him for an appraisal. He immediately impressed with knowledge of the market, advice on preparation, assistance with organising removal of the old furniture, arranging for cleaning, etc. also, his valuation seemed realistic to me so he was engaged.
The advertising and promotion campaign was very well done and later the actual auction was conducted by a contact of Nicholas who was the best I have seen. He cleverly encouraged the final two bidders and the final sales price was higher than I expected and well above the reserve.
